Does anybody know who the parents for Louis francois gosselin is who married Marguerite Guindon? He had a son named Francois who married twice 1. Charlotte Lamare in 1744 and 2. Catherine Babin LaCroix in 1748. I have only found the first marriage in a index but the second marriage of my husbands lines descends from Catherine Babin dit Lacroix. I would be happy to share anything I have on these lines

According to his marriage record, Louis-Francois Gosselin was a native of the parish of St-Martin de Longjumeau, Île-de-France (now part of the departement of Essonne). He was the settler who came to New France. The marriage of Louis Francois Gosselin & Marguerite Guindon shall be researched in the french departemental vital records, which are available for search online : http://www.essonne.fr/culture_sports_loisirs/archives_departementales/archives_en_ligne/ Good luck.
