I am searching Joseph D'Aoust born 1873 (Estimated). He is in the 1910 Census in the United States. I need his father to verified the D'Aoust Family line. No, I can send a picture. I was able to print it years ago when I was going to start the family, I kepted it.  I am not finding it on the website. 

Thank you for the websites.  I have those printed out for me. Dephine was an Iroqois Indian (100) I have her and Louis informatin. I am looking for Joseph D'Aoust  parents.   Joseph married Neida Fregeau, Daughter of Dephine and Louis Fregeau. I have their names and children because they are my father-in-laws.  I just can;t find Joseph D'Aoust Father.  He could have been called Ludgar Daoust and I have research this name and all names combined with no luck. Joseph and Neida chilren are not listed because they came to the USA and had children in Waterbury, New Haven CT. I have them plus all the family after another 4 generatiosn are yet to be added to this line.  I do know we all started with Guillanume.  Just separate moveing from country to country.  I may have to buy into another geneology website.  Thank for all the help..Brenda

Both my in laws have pasted. My Mother in law did write on the back of the pictures all the names of the children but not dates of birth or death or marriages.  My father in law wasn't in to his family much.  I never met any of his brothers or sisters.  Nor did his son.  I share Joseph and Nelida children if you would like but that's about all right now.  I am pretty sure they are buried in New Haven Connecticut and I will do a cemetary search to see if I can find them. All the children were born in Waterbury, New Haven Connecticut.  I will post their pictures on the Picture gallery when I can.  Any comments or help is greatly appreciated. 

I already have a good idea who are the children by looking at 1900, 1910 and 1921 censuses.  They are

Lucille ( April 1900 ), Albert ( 1902 ), Charles ( 1904 ),  Arthur ( 1905 ), Annette ( 1911 ) and Germaine ( 1914 ).

I am still looking through old photos to see if I can find deaths on Joseph and Nelida Daoust.  Their son Charles Daoust (Darwi) said his mother was half Iroqois by her mother Delphine Thouin. He said she was born in the Caughmawaga Quebec.  He said Delphine was born oncthe Indain Nation.  This is the only proof we have so far just word of mouth passed down from framily to family.   

Having aboriginal ancestors is a very big myth among Quebeckers. If you look at Delphine’s chart :

you'll see that she was born in St-Cesaire and was baptized there the same day. St-Césaire is 72 Kilometers from Kahnawake (formerly Caugnawagha) or 45 miles. 
Look at the names of Delphine’s parents. There is nothing more French.

Yes, you are so right. I did see all of that and this is what threw me.  I have searched and search to see if she was born where they said she was born.  And of course, if they kept excellant records in the family it would be better on us with our research.  Thank you

I am having a problem finding all of Delphine and Louis Fregeau children.  I have a list of the children but I don't have the Birth and deaths on any of them.  Joseph and Nelida I have only their birth only.  I have  4 girls and 7 boys who are siblings to Nelida. 

Total of 11 children for Louis and Delphine Fregeau and my mother-in-law spelled the name F r i g e a u.  I seached that spelling also and still can't find them...I believe I could be having problems because of my last name.  It seems the geneology picks up my name and trys to find my relatives.  I am not sure.

I Already found birth date for 9 of them : Marie-Louise, Joseph, Nelida, Edgard, Albert, Arthur, George, Anne and Arsene.

Who are the two others ?

Here is who is on the back of the picture of the men, Louis Fregeau the father, then Joseph, George,Edgar, Jean Baptiste, Albert Edoward, Philippe.  The mother Delphine, then Marie Louise , Nelida, Anne Marie, and Margurite.  11 children

Plus, they spelled the names Frigeau not Fregeau.  But to find them I feel it should be Fregeau.

My mother-in-law said Joseph D'Aoust was called Ludgar D'Aoust in the family.  I am assuming his name was Ludgar Joseph or Joseph Ludgar D'Aoust.

Isidore was the last given name of Jean-Baptiste.

I found the name Arthur on the 1891 census.  I did'nt  find his baptism act. Maybe Edouard was another given name.

I found something very special.  First, the 1900 US census for the city of Waterbury, Connecticut, on which we can see Louis and Delphine ( line 76 )  :

They are living in USA since 4 years ( collumn 16 ).  We can also see a child named Arthur ( line 81 ) and born in Massachusetts.  That's why I can't found his baptism act in Quebec.  And if the family was living in the US in 1900, I assumed that were Marguerite was born. 

So I searched for Arthur and found Albert.  His birth was registred in Boston, Massachusetts ( no. 8058 ) :
