Pierre Arthur Brault, 73, who died Sat urday in St. Lukes' Hospital following a short illness. Born in Montreal, Mr. Brault moved to St. Lambert in 1906. He began his business career as a stockbroker with Fortier and Co. in 1926.
He left to work with J.R. Tirnmins and in 1932 established the firm of Brault and Chaput with his late brother, Paul, and Lt.-Col. Jean Chaput Mr. Brault remained active in the firm until his retirement in 1962. He was a past president of the St. Lambert Liberal Association, a former member of the board of management of the Montreal Curb Market, a member of the Country Club of Montreal, and Le Cercle Universitaire.
He is survived by his wife, the former Albanie Charlebois; a son, Francois; two daughters, Mrs. Pierre Trottier (Jacqueline) and Mrs. Jean Rheaume (Louis); a brother, Dr. Jean Brault: two sisters, Mrs. Germaine Jaron and Mrs. Marguerite Payette; and nine grandchildren.
