Are these two names interchangeable? I've found listings both ways and I am not sure which is correct. St. Lawrence or St. Laurent. Many male family members are listed under both names.
Please clarify.

of course they are depending on the whim of the priest or the family
some are baptized under onename and marry under another one
now you don't want to go into the "dit" names or aliasses for Quebec , there is a book published
