still looking for onfo on damase dumont son of amable and euphemie saindon dumont. past 1900.  euphemie came tp use around  1900_1903 with her children all but rosann who was mareied. damase stayed for a while left and left no trace. i thought he went back to richmond area where his father and sister was no trace of him there. he owned landed in the attleboro mass area with family member until 1920s then no trace of him. did he die mary have children et

did you look at the census for 1901 or 11-  or 21?

I don't find a Amable Dumont .. did he go by an alias??Gueret  or Lafleur may be???

quite comon in Quebec  change name as they cross the border

Hello Sharon, in the 1910 census Norton Town, Bristol, Mass you have most of the family.

Seems Amable is deceased, since we find Euphemie ans her childrens only:

Euphemie 59, Damase 36, Jacob 32,Moise 28, Kate 24, Josephine 22 and Mabel 21

Amable Dumont and Euphemie Saidon, married 15 feb 1870 at St-Arsene, Rivière du Loup.

the first child born is Marie Euphemie (named after her mother) on 14 nov 1870, St-Epiphane, Rivière du Loup.

This Euphemie is not on the census of 1910, she may have died or married.

...Damase is 36, and still living with his mother. does not seem to be married.
