Hi,
I am needing to verify the surname of Joseph Jodoin wife.  The name has come up as Parent in 1909, Parsons in 1915 and looks like it could also be Parrow on another certificate.

Does anyone have this in the family tree,  Joseph & Isabelle children are Honore, Ernest, Alpha Mabel, David, Mary, Zalda and Alexandre  between 1884 and 1900

Here's another 1901 Census, here you find a "Alexandre" Jodoin

Alexandre Jodoin married M.Anne Foucault on 27 aug 1928,
Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs, Montreal
parents: Joseph Jodoin and Isabella Parent
(in Ontario, they sometimes use Bella in place of Isabella)

Thank you.

I think Isabella surname might actually be Perault.   I found a marriage announcement and this is how they showed the name.

It is frustrating with the many variations of their names.  The information on Alexandre is very much appreciated.

Surely Alexandre, who married M.Anne Foucoult, knew the surname of his mother!

If "Parent" was given to the church priest, that must be the right name.
