Je recherche les parents de Georges Saucier et de Sophie Desjardins marié le22 juillet 1912 Edmundson.

Georges Saucier, fils mineur de Isaïe et Marie Dubois de la paroisse de Ste-Luce au Maine, et Sophie Desjardins, fille mineure de Eugène et Adèle Dubois, se sont mariés le 22 juillet 1912 à la cathédrale Immaculée-Conception de Edmunston.  Ils ont obtenu une dispense de consanguinité du 2e au 2e degré, c'est donc dire qu'ils étaient cousin/cousine.

en 1930 la famille de Georges Saucier est au Madawaska, Aroostook, Maine , avec pl. enfants :

Yvon 15 ans, Herby 13- Fred 10-Florence 8-Weida 5 ans et Lawrance 2 ans

Herbert Joseph "Frenchy" Saucier 1917 - 2009 Auburn - Herbert J. Saucier, 92, of Auburn passed away peacefully at the Androscoggin Hospice House Friday morning, November 27, following a brief stay. He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, July 12, 1917, the son of George and Sophie Saucier. Raised and schooled in Madawaska, he worked as a logger and town police officer until 1941 when he married Laura Paquet and moved to Lewiston. Herbert Joseph "Frenchy" Saucier
1917 - 2009

Auburn - Herbert J. Saucier, 92, of Auburn passed away peacefully at the Androscoggin Hospice House Friday morning, November 27, following a brief stay.
He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, July 12, 1917, the son of George and Sophie Saucier. Raised and schooled in Madawaska, he worked as a logger and town police officer until 1941 when he married Laura Paquet and moved to Lewiston. In 1942 he was drafted into The United States Army and served in the corps of engineers and subsequently was named the head of the motor pool at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Afterwards, he worked locally as a heavy equipment operator for W.H. Hinman and Rossi Construction until he retired in 1979.
He served his church as a Eucharistic Minister and collector at St. Louis Catholic Church in Auburn. He was a strong man, an avid fisher and hunter who enjoyed traveling to Northern Maine, watching the Red Sox and tinkering on car engines. He loved a cup of coffee, a donut and a good conversation. He was surrounded by his loving family until his passing.
He is survived by his children, Lorraine Lee and her husband, Emmett, of Monroe, CT., Barbara Wiseman and her husband, Alain, of Minot, and Herbert L. Saucier and his wife, Rhonda of Lewiston; his siblings, Lawrence Saucier, Herman Saucier, Wida Jalbert and Helen Pelletier; his grandchildren, Emmett Lee, Jr., Jack Wiseman, Christopher Saucier, Jeffrey Saucier and Andrew Saucier; seven great-grandchildren; and his loving companion, Edwina Mailet.
He was predeceased by his wife Laura in 1980 and his siblings; James Saucier, Ivan Saucier, Alfred Saucier, Florence Daigle and Marguerite Roy.
