Very well-known businessman of the Sherbrooke region, co-owner of the New Sherbrooke hotel, horse fancier/promoter/breeder, free-mason, member of various clubs, charities and brotherhoods and patron of the arts. Died after 5 years of illness. V. The Montreal Gazette, March 12, 1938. Wright street in Sherbrooke is named after him (Commission de toponymie du Québec, August 2, 1991). The actual Woodward medical clinic of Sherbrooke is his former house.
