William Andrew was killed by a drunk driver while he was walking with four other people in Ailsa Craig. He was 23 and the other man killed with him was 20 yr old Jeff Paff. Autopsies where done at St. Joseph ' s Hospital in London, Ontario. William Lalonde died of broken ribs , a torn aorta, skull fracture, brain lacerations and massive hemorrhage in the chest.
Jeff Paff died of spinal cord injury and ruptured aorta. Constable William Simons of Lucan investigated.
Funeral for William was held at the T. Stephenson and Son Funeral Home of Ailsa Craig. Service was held at 3 :00 P.M. Tuesday Oct. 29 1968. Burial will be in Nairn Cemetery. Jeff Paff was also buried at Nairn Cemetery. Service for him was at 1: 00 P.M. Tuesday also.
