Warren "Bob" Bedore, of Niagara Falls, died on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. He was 89. He was born in Amsterdam, New York on February 25, 1923, a son of Romeo and Anna (Audet) Bedore.. Mr. Bedore worked as a speech therapist for the Niagara Falls Board of Education for many years. He enjoyed writing the editorial column for the Niagara Gazette for a period of time. He was a longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace - he served as Usher; was active in the Republican party and served on several area boards, including the Niagara Falls Public Library. As a hobby, he enjoyed golfing and worked as a starter at Hyde Park.. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Laurianne (Dussault) Bedore; two children, Anne Campagna (John) of Clarence, Kenneth Bedore of Lewiston; a brother, Thomas Bedore (Mary) of Boulder City, NV; three grandchildren, Emma E. Campagna, Jake and Brandon Bedore; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Bedore in 1987; and a sister, Charlotte Needle.. The family will be present Monday from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where prayers will be said Tuesday 11:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace.
