She was adopted under the name Westmacott and grew up with step-brothers Harold ,Stanley and Norman(nicknamed Nor). Lived in Wales but not sure where she was born. The adoptive father was a castle ground keeper. Violet's name at birth was Bromley and she was adopted by the Westmacott family (father's first name ? - adopted mother unknown also).
