As per his obit Richard died at the age of 98 . His wife Ellen Ann McKenny predeceased him by 21 years. He was a healthy hearty man until 5 days before his death.
The funeral took place at St Brigid's North Onslow, Pontiac, Quebec and mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Sammon P.P
Pall Bearers were H. Doherty, N. Doherty, John Caldwell, A. Tubman, John Mckenny Wolflake and Joe Dolan son of Catherine McKenny from North Onslow.
