Witness to the Marriage of William Tracey and Rachel Day was Joseph Armstrong 1785-1870 . Ireland to Canada 1829. Most likely on the same ship as William and Rachel. Joseph was also the Godfather to Christopher Tracey and Margaret Hedge was the Godmother.
As per the Map William and Rachel owned a large piece of land in March. That piece of land would have been beside St, Isidore R.C. Church South March Ottawa Ontario.
Family: Rachel's correct maiden name is Day as handed down by the Tracey family. The Catholic Church has spelled it incorrectly for a number of there children usind Dague for some and Dagg for some and Day for some. William and Rachel arrived in Canada carring a child that child was born in Ireland and or on the trip over The Tracey notes specify that they were unable to remember if that child they were carring was 3 days old or 3 weeks old or 3 months old when William and Rachel Day arrived here in Canada.
