Per Stephen Cormier: Imprisoned Georges Island, Halifax, NS in Sep 1755 and exiled to No. Carolina on the Providence, Dec. 1755. By 20 Jun 1763 on list of Acadians in PA. Went to MD & wed 1) Marguerite Dupuis ~1764, probably in MD.
Listed among Natchez, Natchitoches Parish, LA settlers with incorrect surname of Landri as age 26, with wife Marguerite-27, daughter Marie-3, & Babin orphan on 11 Feb 1768. Wed Claire Babin in Pointe Coupee Parish and by Aug 1 1770 he is listed as 26 yr old wed to 26 yr old Claire Babin & with infant son living on left bank of the Mississippi. Moved to Opelousas, LA by 4 May 1777 census. Family consists of Pierre Guidry-35; wife Claire Babin-35; sons: David-7; Olivier-5; Joseph-3; Jean-Baptiste-1. After Claire died, married Margaret (Peggy) Miller, daughter of a Scot named Wm. Miller & his Irish wife Anne Kiven.
