Death of Mrs. Phoebe Dostie

"Mrs. Phoebe Dostie, well known among the old residents of this place, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wickham, in Batchellerville, on Monday last, from old age. The deceased would have been 92 years old had she lived until December 27 next. She was the relect of the late John O. Dostie, an herb doctor of local fame. They lived for a great number of years on what is yet known as the "Dostie Place", opposite Verbeck's woods on the Geyser avenue. Her remains were brought here yesterday and placed in the vault at Greenridge."
