*BOOM COMPANY VETERAN DIES. Oswald Renauld, 84, of 210 Dunlap avenue, former riverman for the Menominee Boom company, who lived here for 70 years, died of heart disease Sunday at 2:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's hospital.
Mr. Renauld was born in North Adams Mass., January 24, 1864 and came to Menominee at the age of 14 years. He was a member of St. Ann's church and of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Emil Pocan, and the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Kirby Scruggs, Ray and Lester of Detroit; Mrs. Bessie Short, Mrs. Bert Malloy, Oswald Jr., and Leroy Renauld of Kalamazoo; Mrs. Claude Randall of Brancroft, Mich.; John Renauld of Menominee; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Lemieux funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's church where Rev. Fr. Francis Gaynet will intone the mass. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
The Holy Name Society will recite the rosary in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today and members of the parish at 8 p.m.
