Noëlla's parents moved to New York states as Daniel was offered a job working at a relative business. Noëlla was born & lived there for awhile. They came back to Canada as their US residency had expired. It finally arrived while in Montreal, however they decided to stay instead as Daniel found suitable employment. They lived in Montreal until Noëlla was 12, moved to Lemieux, Ontario for few years & then back to Montreal until Noëlla reached 21. It was difficult for Noëlla to keep up with her english learning - all over again. Eventually they settled to Lemieux, ON in 1945 to be close to Valéda's half brother Joe (Robert Courval) as he was very sick & needed help with his farm. Noëlla then met the love of her life Emile Pagé from a family of 13 children from Casselman, ON in 1946.
