A Lemieux family household of at least 9 members residing in the district of Bagot was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Misael Lemieux, was born in Quebec in 1849. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 51, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Misael's wife was Adrienne Lemieux, who was 51 years old. Adrienne was born in Quebec in 1849. She also identified her heritage as French. Misael and Adrienne had 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls. In 1874 their eldest child, a girl named Noèmie, was born. Four years later, in 1878, when Misael was 29 years old and Adrienne was 29 years old their second child, this time a son, who was named Hector, was born. Then, in 1879, with their two children ages 5 years and 1 year, their third child, Emèlia, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child and second boy, Onésiphore, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and third boy, Edmour, was born in 1885. He was followed by 2 more children: their daughter M Rose, born in 1887; and their daughter Maria, born in 1889. Thus, at the time of the 1901 census, this Lemieux family household was filled with 7 children whose ages were 11, 13, 15, 19, 22, 23, and 26 years.
