Grand Aunt Mabel was the oldest child, born 20 years before my Grandfather, Moses Joseph Lasser. She was like a second mother to Mose. I suspect that my Grandfather was named after Moses Bassett. Mabel and Moses Basett's son, William was born only a few months after his uncle, Moses Lasser, and they were very close, like brothers. William died in 1933 and is buried with his parents in St. Mary's Cemetery in Muskegon, Michigan. David Lasser, Poulsbo, WA
