Scalabrini, Marie-Paule (née Vanasse) 1922-2007 The family announces with sorrow her death at Bingham Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 7, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Loving wife of the late Rosario Scalabrini (1975). Dear mother of late Gérald Scalabrini (2001), Gérard Scalabrini of Ottawa, Daniel Scalabrini (Cécile) of Alberta, Michel Scalabrini (Annette) of Timmins, Jacques Scalabrini (Diane) of Timmins and Martine Ansara (late Joe Ansara) of Timmins. Survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers remembrance donations made to the Rosedale Center in Matheson or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. The family wish to thank the staff at the Rosedale Center for taking such good care of their mother, as well as the Bingham Memorial Hospital and Dr. Chang and staff for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral mass will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Tuesday April 10, 2007 from the St. Dominique Church. Interment Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Easter Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
