Mrs. Anna Bedore, a Tupper Lake resident most of her life, died Sunday morning, May 29 at the Lockport Memorial Hospial, -only a few days short of her 90th birthday.
She had been a patient at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Nursing Home at Lockport before admission to the hospital.
Friends may call at the Richer Funeral Home here during visiting hours this afternoon and tonight. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Name Church at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Earl Nichols, pastor, and interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery.
She was born at Piercefield on June 9, 1898, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Marlow Audet, and was married on January 17, 1922 at Holy Name Church to Romeo Bedore of Tupper Lake. They made their home here at 36 Cedar St. for many years.
Mr. Bedore was employed for some 40 years in the local school system, first as a bus driver and in later years as attendance officer. The family moved in 1981 to Lockport,
where Mr. Bedore died on July 4, 1982.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Needle, with whom she resided at Lockport prior to admissio to the nursing home, and Mrs. Heloise Watson of Fredericton, New Brunswick; two sons, Robert Bedore of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Thomas Bedore of Boulder City, Nevada; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Eglantine) Ives and Mrs. Aurora LaBarge, formerly of Tupper Lake and now of Canandaigua, N.Y.
