Lucille M. Gauthier, 69, American Optical Retiree

CHARLTON - Lucille M. (Burrows) Gauthier, 69, of Blood Road, died Friday night in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.

She worked at American Optical Corp. in Southbridge, retiring in 1948. Mrs. Gauthier was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton City.

Her husband, Armand A. Gauthier, died several years ago. She leaves a daughter, Lumina M. Gauthier, and a brother, Charles R. Burrows, both of Charlton. She was born in Charlton, the daughter of Louis A. and Lumina (Boucher) Burrows, and lived here most of her life.

The funeral will be held at 11am Tuesday from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, with a masss at noon in St. Joseph's Church, Route 20, Charlton City. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm tonight.
