It is with deep sadness that the family announces Louis’s passing in Sudbury on Saturday, August 09, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents Siméon and Rosina (née Lalonde) Rainville. Beloved husband of 71 years to Claire (née Bertrand) Rainville. Loving father of Gilberte Lanctot (Gaston), Huguette Burns (Wayne), Yollande Paquette (late Lionel), Léo (Yvonne), Lise Lambert (Denis), Jeanne Beaulieu (Guy), Aline Grylls (Mike), Claude and Jacques (Louise). Predeceased by his son Guy (Jackie). Dear brother of Edna Belisle (late Rhéal). Predeceased by his siblings; Hermidas, Siméon Jr., Lucien, Léonide, Paul and Eugénie. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Wednesday, August 13th, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9:30. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame du Rosaire, Blezard Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made (by cheque only) to the Maison Vale Hospice or the Northern Cancer Foundation in Louis’s memory.
