Lloyd Joseph Cain of North Onslow, Quebec passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the age of 94, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the son of James Cain and Mary Ann Kilbride. Lloyd was married to his beloved and cherished wife Leona (Curley) for 68 years. They have been together at Granite Ridge Care Community for the past three years. He is survived by his five children: Shirley Nugent (Art) of Pembroke, Darleen Finnamore (Stephen) of Kanata, Lorne Cain (Nora) of Carp, Betty-Ann Perrin (Marcel) of Kanata and Deborah Cain-Moroz (Bob) of Kanata. His legacy is carried on into two more generations with 7 grandchildren: Amy (Teresa) of Vancouver, David of Montreal, James (Clare) of Ottawa, Andrew (Amy) of Metcalfe, Nathan of Toronto, Katie and Hannah of Kanata and 7 great-grandchildren. Lloyd was known to many and loved by all. He was a storyteller, a farmer, an engineer with the Federal Government for 32 years, a carpenter but most of all a family man. That was his most cherished possession. He will be greatly missed by all of us. A special thank you to Dr. Alsaffar, Marzena and all the Staff in Cottage House at Granite Ridge for their compassion and loving care. Family and friends are invited to visit the
