Married Adelaide Duval as Levi LaFaix. Their four children born in ON were baptized as Lafaix and Lafex. They moved to Benson Mines, St Lawrence Co., New York in 1890, where they had 7 more children with varying last names of Lefex, Lafaix and LaFex. In Oct 1905, they moved to Blind River, Algoma District, ON where the name became permanently shortened to Fex. In about 1915, they purchased a farm nearby, in Dean Lake, ON where they lived until their deaths.
