Mrs Joseph Belliveau is dead
Pioneer Resident of City Succumbs to Stroke of Paralysis suffered on August 6

Mrs Joseph Belliveau died saturday evenning at 8 o'clock at Sacred HEart Hospital as the result of a stroke of paralysys which she suffered on Aug, 6. During the four and half weeks following the stroke, she never regained cons ciensness and little hope was entertained at any time for her recovery. She had been auling fot two years, during which time she suffered severe attacks of illness.
Mrs Belliveau was 54 years of age. She is survived by her husband and five children--Mrs Dennis Belmore of Redvers, Saskatchewan, Canada; Mrs Harry C Boohmsach, Mrs Adolph Du Bois, Miss Lima Belliveau and Joseph Belliveau, all of Tomahawk.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock at St-Mary's Church, high mass being sung by the Rev. Fr. A.J. van Helden. Interment wad made at Calvary cemetery. The pallbearers were E. Myre, Frank Liberty, Louis Morency, Phlippe Marcouillier, J, Turgeon and Joseph Venne.
Mrs Belliveau's maiden name was Mary Leah La Belle. She was born Aug. 25 1860 in St.Calix, Province of Quebec, Canada.At the age of 15, she went to Stillwater, Minn. where she was married to Joseph Belliveau. After living in Stillwater for four years, Mr and Mrs Belliveau moved to Turtle Lake, Wis. and lived there for eight years, coming to Tomahawk twenty four years ago next month.
Mrs Belliveau was a member of the Beavers, a fraternal insurance organization
