There has been quite a lot of confusion between this Jean-Baptiste Leclerc (#1651691), b. 1805 to Jean-Marie Leclerc (#915256) & M-Francoise Lauzon (#915257), and another Jean-Baptiste Leclair (#1753388), b. 1808 to Jean-Baptiste Leclair (#945660) & Marie-Anne Vaillancourt (#945661) -- both baby boys born in the same parish, baptized in the same place and in the same church, yet 3 years apart. _Both_ men (as well as several others by exactly the same name) have been tagged in various Ancestry family trees as the "Baptiste Leclair" who on 28 Oct 1829 married "Henriette Aumier" at Basilica Notre-Dame, Bytown (Ottawa), Ontario. Unfortunately, the Basilica's official marriage registration text does _not_ include the parents' names for "Baptiste Leclair", although the names of the parents of "Henriette Aumier" were entered. It gets further complicated in that (by consulting Tanguay), it turns out that the great-grandfather of _both_ men was Pierre-Prisque Leclerc (#471790)! /// Upon consultation Nov-22-2018 with the IT manager of NosOrigines.gc.ca / Genealogy of Canada, and after a brief research on his part, these two profiles have been separately confirmed with official records outside of NosOrigines, the changes have now been made (or are in the process of being made), and the correct man is now believed to be linked each to his proper spouse.//
