DROLET, Isobel Ethel (née Rogers) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Monday, June 7, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Frederick and of the late Louise (née Prince) Rogers. Wife of the late Fernand Drolet. Beloved mother of Marcel “Marcy“ Drolet (Christiane), Maurice Drolet, Paul Drolet, Mike Drolet (Nicole) all of Sudbury, Suzanne Bush (Cliff), Gary Drolet (Laury) and Robert Drolet (Josée Parker) all of Chelmsford, Gerry Drolet (Sharon) of Kelowna, B.C. and Richard Drolet of Toronto. Predeceased by her son Donald. Dear sister of Agnès Mills (late Dick), Freda Watson (Morley) and Norinne Robinson (Everitt). Predeceased by her sisters and brothers: Ruth, Margaret, Mae, Archie, Albert, George and Stewart. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Cory, Stephanie (André Brunet), Sheila (Rodney Girard), Brian, Chelsea, Amanda, Dominic, Dustin, Patrick, Sophie, Ryan, Nathan and her great-grandchildren, Janelle, Julien, Léa and Vanessa. Predeceased by her grandchildren Brianna and Branden. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The focus of Isobel's life was her dear family. In her leisure time she enjoyed going to the bingo. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
