AKA Bella Meredith // Isabella Agnes Housman was born just two weeks following her parents' and siblings' arrival at Quebec by ship from England. Her father came as the newly appointed Rector of Church of the Holy Trinity, the English Cathedral at Quebec City. // Isabella & Edward Meredith had six (6) children, 1 son and 5 daughters; only the youngest daughter did not marry. Of the five who married & had children, four have descendants. // After her husband 'Ned' died in Dec 1938, Bella ('Granny') Meredith lived in a suite of rooms at the Chateau Frontenac for the remainder of her life.
