H. Caissie -
The death of Herve Caissie of Grande Digue occurred Wednesday at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital folowlng a brief illness. He was 73. Born at Cocagne Cape, he was a son of the late Francois and Marie (Leger) Caissie and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Arsenault; three daughters, Mrs. Alcide Gallant (Geralda) of Prince Edward Island, Mrs. Edouard Doucette (Lina) of Lynn. Mass. and Mrs. Joseph Cormier (Georgette) of St Thomas, Kent County; nine sons, Henri, Armand, Alvin, Rene, and Valerie, all of Grande Digue, Bernard of Shediac, Paul of Toronto. Edgar of Montreal, and Louis of Grandby, Que.; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Gautreau of Shediac, Mrs. Fred Goguen of Grande Digue, Mrs. Clifford St. Onge of Florida, Mrs. Eugene Cormier of Notre Dame and Mrs. Dora Richard of Moncton; one brother, Horace Caissie of Grande Digue; 73 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The body to resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am Friday at Grande Digue Roman Catholic Church with Interment in the parish cemetery.
