Henri immigrated to Biddeford with his parents in 1879, In 1880 he was 12 years old and working in a cotton mill.
In 1898, he was a holster living with his wife and children at 8 Walnut Street. They rented a house at 52 Hill Street, Biddeford, where he was noted a hostler(1900), a teamster (1903) and hack driver (1910)
