LEWISTON - Germaine Hebert Whittemore, 93, formerly of Mexico, died Monday, March 6, at d'Youville Pavilion.She was born July 10, 1912, daughter of Archie and Angeline Bacharach Hebert. She attended school in Rumford and married Kenneth Whittemore on July 24, 1939.She worked at the Diamond International Mill in West Peru for many years. She was a member of the Rumford Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.She is survived by five children, daughters, Marlene Pagan and Shirley Whittemore, both of Lewiston and Beverly Dorion and husband, Paul, of Rumford; sons, Arthur Taylor and wife, Kathy, of Roxbury and Lawrence Whittemore of Mexico; and one surviving brother, Arthur Hebert of New York.She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
