Note: WW I Veteran (309th Inf. Co H.). Enlisted on 26 April 1918 and was Discharged on 11 June 1919. Had no children.
Ernest J. Beaudoin, 59, of 246 North Main Street, veteran of World War I, died at this home early Tuesday evening following a long illness. He was born in St. Pierre Baptiste, County of Megantic, P.Q., and had resided in this city for the past 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva (Trottier) Beaudoin; his mother, Mrs. Alphonsine Beaudoin of this city; six brothers, Egide Beaudoin of this city, Aime Beaudoin of Biddeford, Me., Henri, Lucien, Oscar, and Maurice Beaudoin, all of this city; five sisters, Mrs. Alphonse Nalette of Grandmere, P.Q., Mrs. Edward Hammer, Mrs. May Curtis, Mrs.Alfred Currier and Mrs. Henry Leon Hebert; several nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was a member of the American Legion, Jutras post. Mr. Beaudoin was a parishioner of St. Marie Church, where a high mass of requiem will be celebrated Saturday morning. Interment will take pace in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The body has been taken to the Arthur O. Phaneuf Funeral home, 508 Dubuque street, where relatives and friends may call between 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
