Emile met Noella through his sister Cecile before leaving up north of Ontario for a lumberjack job. They became pen pal for the longest time & then when he came back to Casselman they courted until their big day in 1948.

They had 8 children:5 resides in Cornwall ON, 1 in St. Andrews West ON, 1 in Newington ON & 1 in Kamploops BC.
A total of 17 grand children & 7 great-grand children
