AUBURN — Eleanor A. Pulkkinen, 89, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, July 18.

She was born Eleanor A. Fortier in Otisfield, Nov. 10 1923, the daughter of Fred and Velma (Edwards) Fortier.

On Jan. 15, 1943, she married Sulo Pulkkinen, and they made a home together for 69 years until his death on June 12, 2012.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in South Paris

PULKKINEN — Eleanor A., 89, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, July 18. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, South Paris, ME 04281. There will be no calling hours or services as per her wishes. Arrangements made by Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St., Lewiston.
