Worked at Trans-Canada Airlines at one point. During his lunchbreak while working as a mechanic in Ile-Perrot, Domina was killed on the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue bridge. He was testing a motorcycle when it stalled on the bridge. He was hit. Earlier that morning he had told his wife a curious thing: "next fall, make sure you cut off the exterior water faucet so it won't freeze" she had wondered why he would tell her such a thing..." They had no insurance and Margaret had so little money, the children were eventually and individually sent to live elsewhere.
