According to her baptismal record, Marie Delima Roy dit Desjardins was the daughter of Pierre Roy dit Desjardins and Henriette Michaud. She was baptised 16 April 1857, Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska.

According to the BMS2000, there was only one child baptised that was a child of Pierre Roy dit Desjardins and Leocade Paradis and that was Marie Emile. She was baptised 9 July 1862.
