Stephen Alexandre Mackay (Notary Public) married Miss Clarissa Agret, daughter of Mr. James Agret on Feb. 9, 1880. The presents of the bride consisted of a set of jewelry, the brooch being made of Mexican silver, one half dollar piece and the two pendants made out of ten cent pieces respectively. She also received a silver butter dish, various pieces of glass cut ware and several volumes of books.
