Charles Degagné, 83, of St. Norbert, Manitoba, died Wednesday in Hospice Taché. Born in Quebec, he came to Manitoba 78 years ago.
Mr Degagné is survived by five sons: Jean, Victor, Joseph, Gerard and Ferdinand; six daughters, Mrs C. N. Dupras, Mrs R. Louze, Mrs G. Martel, Mrs L. Deschenes, Mrs E. Gauthier and Mrs W. McDonald; 53 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
The body will rest at the home of his son, Jean, at La Broquerie from Friday until funeral service at La Broquerie Catholic Church. Burial in the parish cemetery.
