MULLIGAN, Athol It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Athol Mulligan on Thursday October 15, 2009, at the Pontiac Community Hospital at Shawville, Quebec. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Dolan). Loving father of Maureen Moore (Charlie), David (Lynda) and Ernie (Margie). Much loved grandpa to Wendy (Lincoln), Charleen (Stephane), Trevor (Sarah), Sherry (Matt), Ryan (Stephanie) and Reid. Great Grandpa to Lucia, Ryley, Julia and Arlie. Athol was predeceased by brothers Edgar, Terrance, Frank, Andrew, Billy and by Sister Mary Josephine. Dear brother to Elizabeth, Barney, Sister Mary, John and Philip. Beloved brother-in-law to Christina Armstrong (nee Dolan)(late John) and Mae Dolan (Hugh). Athol will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Athol was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing the odd game of cards. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Quyon, Quebec from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
