Amable and Archange were married at St. Anne Catholic Church in Detroit, MI.
He started out like his brothers and at the age of 20 ourchased land from Francis Durocher a part of Patent 543. Three years later he sold 13 acres to Joseph Campau on the fork of River Rouge. In 1826 he sold the heirs of Joseph Beaubien 22.5 arpents on River Rouge. Seven years later he sold 32,400 feet in area in Wayne County to Marie Genevieve Thibautt. In 1834 he purchased from his brither Anthony, 15 acres on the north side of Chicago Road in Springwells Twp. The same year he sold 13 acres in the rear of the Lorrain Farm to Hugh Haggerty. In 1835 Amable purchased from the United States (Andrew Jackson, President) 40 acres being NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Sec 7 Twp 2 South Range 11 East in Detroit. He sold this property a year later to John Hale. Louis Logan purchased from Archange, his widow, the 15 acres owned in Sprungwells Twp in 1848. In 1852, Archange purchased from David Riopel all that part of Private Claim 36 lying South of Central Railroad in Springwells.
