Alexander McDonell son of (Allan McDonell and Margaret Cameron) married Mary Ann McKay daughter of (John McKay and Elizabeth Mettawaban [illegible letters] dit Nikens) on 31 July 1837 at the Poste de Temiskaming, Quebec, Canada during the mission au lac Abitibi (07 June 1837 – 23 August 1837) performed by [Charles de Bellefeuille] a traveling missionary.
