DEATHS - MRS. ALEXANDRA DESJARDINS - Mrs. Alexandra (Marchand) Desjardins, a former resident of Lowell, but for the last three years making her home in Manchester, N.H., died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Bilodeau, 67 Cumberland street, Manchester, N.H., aged 77 years, after a short illness. She leaves her husband, Frank A. Desjardins of Manchester, N.H.; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Tallard and Mrs. Henry Tallard, both of Lowell, and Mrs. Arthur Bilodeau of Manchester, N.H.; a sister, Mrs. Bernadette Rocheleau of Faribault, Minn.; two brothers, Peter Marchand of Salem and Donat Marchand of Lowell; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and St. Anne’s sodality of St. Jean Baptiste parish of Lowell.

FUNERALS NOTICES - DESJARDINS – Died in Manchester, N.H. April 28, Alexandra (Marchand) Desjardins, wife of Frank Desjardins. Funeral will take place Monday from the Bilodeau funeral home, 308 Pawtucket street. At 10 o’clock at St. Jean Baptiste church, a solemn high funeral mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Calling hours 7 to 10 p.m. today and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Director Leo N. Bilodeau in charge.
