DELLA BELLA, Rosanna (Allard)
Rosanna (Allard) Della Bella, 85, formerly of West Street, Stafford Springs, died Monday (Nov. 23, 1998) at Evergreen Health Care Center after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Della Bella who died on Aug. 6, 1998 [SIC--->1988]. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Leo Dnia (Marier) Allard and was a life long resident of Stafford. Rosanna was co-owner and operator of Della Bella Furniture House for 45 years with her husband Angelo. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, Court Isabella No. 785 Catholic Daughters of America, St. Edward's Ladies Guild, Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian Benefit Society, and the Stafford Golden Age Club. Rosanna is survived by two sons and daughters-in- law, Donald and Sylvia Della Bella of Bolton, Peter and Kathy Della Bella of Manchester; a daughter and son-in- law, Judy and Paul Lusa of Stafford Springs; five grandchildren, Alison Della Bella of Somerville, MA, Peter Della Bella of Natick, MA, Paula Butler of Stafford, Catherine Lusa of Portland, OR, Dino Lusa of Stafford; two great grandchildren, Megan and Kelly Butler of Stafford; two sisters, Lena Simmons of Manchester, Ann Kellner of Westerly, RI, and several nieces and nephews. Rosanna was predeceased by five brothers, Rev. Francis Allard, Albert Allard, Joseph Allard, Napoleon Allard and John Allard, two sisters, Cecelia Trinks and Margaret Lentocha. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, (Nov. 27), 10 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 55 High Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs. There are no calling hours. The Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, has charge of arrangements.
