Jean-y Champagne

(March 20, 1950 - August 28, 2016)

Jean-y Champagne, 66, of Troy, Vermont passed away on August 28, 2016 in Burlington, VT. He was born on March 20, 1950 in St. Zachary, Quebec Canada to Noel and Blanche (Chabot)                               Champagne. He married Letitia Gagnon on June 21, 1997                           who survives him.

Mr. Champagne was a carpenter by trade. He was employed for many years by Lavel Couture of Canada.  His hobbies included snow mobiling, NASCAR, traveling in Canada and Connecticut. He enjoyed a good party and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Letitia Champagne of Troy, VT, by his children: Michelle, Caroline, Letitia, Steven, Michael and Ron. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is survived by two brothers: Robert and Rene Champagne and by his sister Eliette Dallaire.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Michel Dallaire and son-in-law Scott, and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday September 3, 2016 at the New Hope Bible Church in Irasburg with the Pastor George Lawson officiating.
