WINTHROP -- Marie Florence
Busque, 86, formerly of Windy Street, Augusta, died unexpectedly on Feb. 16,
2012, at Winthrop Manor Longterm Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born
in Augusta on Sept. 5, 1925, the daughter of Charles Quirion and Victoria
(Poulin) Quirion.
Mrs. Busque was a graduate of Cony High School in Augusta.
She was a homemaker in her own home for most of her life.
Mrs. Busque was a member of St. Michael Parish at St. Augustine Catholic
Church, and a longtime member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society.
Her husband, Lionel Busque, died on April 8, 2004. She was also predeceased
by a son, Gerard Busque; a brother, Rosario Quirion; and her parents.
Surviving is a son, J. Laurent "Larry" Busque, and his wife, Roberta, of
Augusta; a sister, Mrs. Albert (Merilda) Bilodeau, of East Winthrop; five
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
At her request, there will be no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at St. Augustine Catholic
Church, Augusta. Spring burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Augusta.
