Oct. 15, 1851, Julie-Anne Taillon was born near Cornwall, Ontario. She had lived here about 25 years. She may have been a Mohawk Indian. Mabel Lalonde, Uncle Frank's daughter, told her daughter Muriel that Julianne was a Mohawk Indian. Another -grandson of Uncle Frank's remembers his mother telling him that Julianne was an Indian princess.

From a cemetery lookup by Larry Corbett of Watertown: Her funeral was handled by Northam and Fox. The funeral was at Sacred Heart. She is in a single, unmarked grave, location in cemetery, grave Sec S Lot 6 W 5. Her last residence is listed as 246 West Main St.She died the day Rebea Lalonde Seyeau's daughter Barbara was born. She was in her 90's and had been bedridden for about 2 years.

Her obituary from the Aug. 3, 1942 Watertown Times reads: Mrs. Janet Ann Lalonde Parker, 90, widow of James Parker, died this morning at 4:40 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Janet Volvia, 246 West Main St., with whom she resided.

Mrs. Parker had been ill for more than a year. In June, 1941, she fell off a curb while crossing a street and since then she had been confined to her bed. Death was attributed chiefly to infirmities of old age.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in the Church of Our Lady Sacred Heart. Burial will be made in North Watertown cemetery.

Surviving her are seven sons, - Frank Lalonde, city; - Louis and John Lalonde, Bonville, Ont; - Amos Lalonde, California; - Fred Lalonde, Toronto, and - William Lalonde and a daughter, Mrs. Janet Volvia. Mrs. Parker had 14 children.
