Biographie Leveille Jeannette

Jeannette was a member of the Alouette Satellite Pioneers having had a career as a Prototype Specialist with Defence Research Establishment Ottawa working with the team on Canada's first satellite, the Alouette, in the 1950s and 1960s. In retirement, she participated in many volunteer activities, making period costumes-and friends-at the Billings Heritage House where she was honoured as a founding member. She also volunteered in assisting residents experiencing dementia at the former Island Lodge. Jeannette was known for her deep faith, kindness, thoughtfulness, humility, generosity and dignity.
