Biographie Boucher Jean-Paul

Jean Paul Boucher was born May 25, 1918, the third child of Josaphat Boucher and Rose Alma Lemaire. When Jean Paul was four years old, his father purchased a 230-acre farm on County Road in Swanton, VT. This is where he lived until his retirement.

On October 16, 1948, he married Pauline Couture, in St-jean-sur-Richelieu. In February 1950, he bought from his parents, the so-called B. H. Smalley Farm on County Road. There, Jean Paul and Pauline raised their six children: Suzanne, Michel, Denise, Marc, Paul and Joel.

On May 23, 1979, Jean Paul and Pauline sold their property on County Road to Richard Longway. After the sale of their farm, Jean Paul and Pauline moved to a house on 13 Dunning Street, in Swanton.

Jean Paul passed away May 2, 1987, at 69 years of age.
