Biographie Stiber Philip-Heinrich

Philipe Henri STIBER, from Creinacht near Manheim, Germany, son of
Sebastien STIBER & Catherine FRESSE, was married to Marie LURETTE, from
Ste-Anne, dau. of Charles LURETTE & Marie-Anne PELTIER, on 11 Oct 1784 in Rivière-Ouelle, (Quebec). Present were Marie Réguis LURETTE, sister of the bride, and Marie Félicité STIBER, dau. of the bride and groom".

The register has those two notes:
"Said Philippe STILEC (sic) having renounced the calvinistic heresy, and having been found free to marry"
"The spouses having recognized that the child, baptized on August 31 last with the name Marie Félicité under the mention 'parents unknown', with Joseph DIONNE as god-father and Marie Anne LEBEL as god-mother, belongs to them, that they are her father and mother, and that they accept her as their legitimate heir"
